Explore the rainforest with a local naturalist and discover the wildlife, ecology and history of Cahuita National Park. Every experience supports La Esquina Verde, our independent conservation project bordering the park.
Duration/Price
Short Walk: 2 hours – $40 per person
Complete Experience: 3–4 hours – $50 per person
Our walks are designed to help you understand the rainforest through careful observation, local knowledge and environmental interpretation. Every outing is different, shaped by the weather, the season and the wildlife we encounter. Along the way, you'll learn about the ecology, history and natural relationships that make Cahuita National Park one of Costa Rica's most remarkable ecosystems.
Wildlife sightings may include sloths, monkeys, iguanas, snakes, frogs, birds, insects and many other rainforest species, but nature is always unpredictable—and that's part of the experience.
