Paddle quietly through the calm waterways of Estero Negro, surrounded by rainforest and one of the Caribbean's most important wetland ecosystems. Away from the crowds, this experience offers the opportunity to slow down, observe wildlife in its natural habitat, and appreciate the subtle beauty of the forest.

As you explore the canal with your local naturalist guide, you'll learn about the ecological importance of wetlands, the connections between the rainforest and freshwater ecosystems, and the wildlife that depends on them. Sightings may include sloths, monkeys, birds, iguanas, and many other species, although every visit is unique.
