Experience the rainforest at night in La Esquina Verde, our independent rainforest conservation project bordering Cahuita National Park. Guided by a local naturalist, you'll explore the hidden world of nocturnal wildlife while learning how the rainforest changes after dark.
Duration/Price
2 hours – $50 per person
As darkness settles over the rainforest, a hidden world begins to emerge. Sounds become more intense, new species become active, and the forest reveals a completely different side of its biodiversity.
Guided by a local naturalist, you'll move slowly through our rainforest conservation project, learning not only to spot wildlife, but also to understand the behaviors, adaptations and ecological relationships that make the nocturnal rainforest so unique.
Every walk is different. Wildlife sightings may include frogs, snakes, lizards, spiders, insects, mammals and many other nocturnal species, but nature is always unpredictable—and that's part of the experience.
