PUNTA UVA RIVER TOUR

Punta Uva is one of the most beautiful and biodiverse coastal ecosystems in Costa Rica, where the rainforest meets the Caribbean Sea.

As you paddle through calm tropical waters, your guide will help you observe and understand the wildlife and ecological connections that make this place so unique. 

Along the way, you may encounter sloths, monkeys, iguanas, turtles, water birds, fish and many other species that inhabit this remarkable ecosystem.

Every tour is different. Wildlife sightings depend on the season, weather and the natural behavior of the animals, making each experience unique and authentic.

To make the most of your kayak adventure, we recommend bringing:

• Comfortable clothing that can get wet
• Sandals or water shoes
• A reusable water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Hat or cap
• Insect repellent (optional)
• A light rain jacket during the rainy season
• A change of clothes (optional)

If you plan to bring your phone or camera, we recommend using a waterproof bag. If you don't have one, we're happy to lend you one for the tour.
